How is the original Rifain created?
Rifain is a resin renowned for its quality and high cannabinoid potential. It is generally obtained from the cannabis indica variety that grows in the Rif mountains in northern Morocco. The cannabis resin production process is often artisanal, and can vary from one producer to another.
However, the basic method remains the same: rubbing the flowers and leaves to extract the trichomes, rich in active ingredients. The resulting resin is then pressed into pellets, which the consumer may rename "Olive", or in wafer form for ease of transport.
As well as being inspired by the rocky mountains of the RIF, Rifain is also the expression of a Berber language spoken by the population of these lands, some 2.5 million people.
