Ice-O-Lator is a very potent type of hash well known to cannabis consumers.

How is it made?

Icehash, by its other name, is the result of a so-called " cold " extraction using water and ice. This technique makes it possible to isolate the trichomes, i.e. separate them from the plant material. These are glands containing hemp's active ingredients (THC, CBD, etc.), as well as a large proportion of terpenes. They are found in large quantities in the buds, but only to a very small extent in the leaves.

In detail, all you need to do is intensively mix plant matter (hemp) with water and ice in specially adapted mesh bags stacked one on top of the other - similar to sieves - and of different sizes: 220 microns, 180 microns, 70 microns, 35 microns. Each bag has its own purpose and acts as a filter. For example, the 220-micron bag retains any waste not required for hash production, such as plants, dust or other debris, while the 35-micron bag is used to obtain the Ice-O-Lator. It is essential to manage the water temperature. It must reach 4 degrees to optimize extraction.

For some years now, the Dutch company POLLINATOR has been offering "washing machines" to facilitate extraction. The principle remains the same: plant matter, water, ice.

The extraction at the base of this hash was made from natural hemp with a tangy note, to which a little distillate was added to increase the product's potency. This is how we achieved an exceptional CBD content of 40.31%.

Although the extraction method is much the same as for Bubble Hashthe final product is very different. They are two different products with their own characteristics.
